I bought it again because i coudlnt live without it. I loved this CD so much. WEll known songs and some not so well known stuff, but its all first rate a great song for relaxing at night. My dad bought it for me when I was like 12. then I lost it and I almost cried.

Truly America's music. I a huge music fan and this cd is one of Nipper's best. Come on, Fred Astaire, Duke Ellington,Tommy Dorsey, and Bing Crosby to name a few on this cd you can't go wrong.

Other than that, the tunes are right on target and Kate Smith's rendition of "God Bless American" is wonderful. I used this to provide background music for a special "Great Depression" exhibit my history students put together for the rest of the school. GREAT selection for representing the 1930s, except for a real important omission: "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime" is not on this CD and it should be.
